Classical

Japanese Ko-Budo is a combination of both unarmed combat and classical weapons study. It is always taught in safe conditions, and in kata form (with pre-set moves). We benefit from technical advice given by our patron, Soke Fumon Tanaka, who is one of Japan's leading authorities on classical arts. Tai Jutsu Kai offers instruction in the:

  • Bo - 6ft staff
  • Hanbo - 3ft staff
  • Bokto - wooden sword
  • Iai Jutsu - swordsmanship.

Tuition in enshin ryu and kukishin ryu, iai jutsu, bo jutsu, under the auspice of Soke Fumon Tanaka.

Classes available in koryu & kobudo under Tasshi Ross Iannoccaro, President of TJK and Soke Tanaka's student in the UK.

As from January 2009 Classical/Kobudo classes will be available Wednesday evenings at Wardon Community Centre, Worcester, with more classes available soon. Places are limited, please book with Head Office.
