Sensei Kevin Mustoe
My journey in Jujutsu started way back in the early 80’s. I had been looking to join a Tae-Kwon-do class but came across Jujutsu by mistake, and I have never looked back. Because I felt then, as I feel now, that there is no better Martial art for self-defence. This (Self Defence) has and always will be my main reason for training. It has never been about belts, trophies, or recognition, but about having the ability to protect myself and my loved ones.
Right from the start, I have always tried to help others in class, by passing on my knowledge, with the belief, the better they become the better I become. I wished to stay active and evolve further in T.J.K so I decided to start teaching and became an Instructor.
I opened a small class in Tewkesbury, and found I highly enjoy teaching Jujutsu. I have found teaching sharpens the mind whereas training sharpens the body. I still actively train under Sensei Ross and Sensei Lee. From my very first class, up to my very last class, I still learn and improve with every session, something I have always found fascinating about Jujutsu.
