Sensei Danny Tamblyn started training in Martial Arts aged 8. He is very proud to have been a Coach under Tasshi Ross Iannaccaro for over 10 years and currently holds a 3rd Dan black belt in Jujutsu.
A successful Sport Jujutsu competitor he has won 3 British Championships and 3 Gold medals at the World Martial Arts Games.
Danny has been a Police Officer since 1997 and a Police Personal Safety Trainer since 2000. As a lead figure in this field with a highly successful record in reducing injuries to officers he is nationally regarded as a use of force expert.
As Tai Jutsu Kai’s Self Defence Consultant he is committed to developing the practical application of realistic and ethical strategies within theTai Jutsu Kai curriculum.
A strong advocate of continuing professional development, Danny recently passed his Sergeants promotion exam with an exceptional grading, achieving the highest mark in his force and scoring in the top 3% nationally.
