Sensei Andrew Privett
Sensei Andy Privett has been training for over 20 years under the guidance of Sensei Ross Iannoccaro and the TJK Association. Over these years Sensei Andy has been influenced by many instructors’; namely Carlie Gracie and Marco Ruas. However, it is within the TJK Association that true inspiration has been found through the teachings of Sensei Rob Tiene & Sensei Ross the TJK President. An overriding appeal of TJK has been the traditional links that it has kept with Japan through the teachings of Soke Fumon Tanaka.
As an instructor it has always been a privilege and an honour to teach Ju Jutsu to hundreds of motivated students each week. Over the years our clubs have developed many black belts and outstanding competitors on the national and international scene. The real appeal of Ju Jutsu is the simplicity of the techniques. With simplicity comes true effectiveness in the art of self-defence and self-protection. Our Association has always kept it’s syllabus and teachings relevant to the modern era whilst retaining it’s cultural heritage.
I would encourage young and old to get involved, in what is considered, the best and most effective form of self-defence in the world.
Sensei Andrew teaches classes throughout Cheltenham, Bourton and Cirencester. View Sensei Andrews website here.
