Sport Jujutsu Participation Day (Arpil 2024)

Unlike a tournament / competition event where strict rules apply and very often participants only have one or two attempts to make it through to medals.

TJK successfully runs participation events suitable for novices.

Members will have the opportunity to practice and gain experience in Sport Jujutsu formats in an encouraging and friendly environment.

Times

10 Years and under 9.15am start
11 years and above 10.45am start
16+ / Adults 12.30pm start

Rules Intro
Grappling Skills
Unlimited friendly Grappling bouts.
Top-class tuition by TJKs most experienced competitors / coaches.

All bouts are friendly with officials constantly giving tips and advice throughout the day.

The upcoming event (21st of April) is Grappling only for children, Adults option of Gi Grappling and No-Gi Grappling.

The following event (in June) is the sport jujutsu format (kumite) which involves Striking and Grappling for both kids and adults.

Entry forms are given out in class by club Sensei.
